This shot was taken at dusk in Sedona, Arizona. The lighting was very diffused and had a strange yellow hue, it was actually taken 10 minutes before a large thunderstorm blasted though the area. It was interesting shooting with complete natural light, it really creates a different mindset when shooting, it makes you really search for ” found light “, it also makes you very aware of balancing the foreground and background of the shot. As you all know, I usually shoot with a lot more gear, I love the flexibility of creating my own vibe with my own lighting, but I’ve realized that learning about all types of natural lighting techniques can really open doors!
