Dichotomy
I was lost in the Santa Cruz mountains a few days ago, and came across this scene. I was honestly amazed to see such a beautiful sight so close to home, in a way pretty rare for the santa cruz mountains which usually consist of mostly evergreen trees. luckily there was no traffic so I stopped the car and jumped out! There was something so intriguing about this scene and later I realized it was the dichotomy between the fresh baby grass and the withering leaves. If only I would have had my tripod! I still thought it’d be a great thing to share with you all, a magical place tucked away in a blanket of redwoods.
When you get into the Santa Cruz mountains, you can find all kinds of interesting landscapes, including apple orchards and old historic buildings from the lumbering days. Beautiful photo though!
Oh, sooo beautiful! Stops time in its tracks..
